In the third quarter of 2025, Austria's Android market witnessed intriguing trends in the horror games category. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Escape from Mental Hospital by Peaksel Games experienced a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting from $284 in early July and tapering to $46 by the end of September. Weekly downloads also decreased from 1.2K to 250, while active users showed fluctuations, peaking at 1.9K in July before settling at 1.6K.

Monster Studio: Music Beats from Tappy Game saw a brief spike in revenue, peaking at $77 mid-July, before falling to negligible levels. Downloads showed a similar trend, starting at 1.1K in early July and decreasing to 147 by the quarter's end. Active users peaked at 2.3K in July, subsequently declining to 1.4K.

Monster Shooter: Survival FPS by UltraPub maintained a low revenue profile, with minimal income recorded in July. However, downloads increased significantly in August, reaching a high of 1.1K before dropping to 322 by September. Active users remained strong, peaking at 9K in August.

Granny, developed by DVloper, reported no revenue throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decline from 619 to 278. Active users fluctuated, showing a notable drop to 525 in July, then recovering to 779 by late September.

The Baby In Yellow from Team Terrible recorded small revenue peaks, reaching $17 at the quarter's end. Downloads remained stable, hovering around the 300 mark, with active users peaking at just over 1K in July before declining gradually.
